About Me
I’m a tattoo artist and illustrator based in central Massachusetts. I began my apprenticeship at Caged Raven Tattoo in 2022 with the owner, Cory (@zoidgrafx), as my mentor. As of 2024, my apprenticeship was complete. Halloween of 2026 will mark my fourth year tattooing.
I’m very grateful to have had my entry into tattooing with the artists at Caged Raven. They continue to help me grow, learn, and navigate this new lifestyle. Growing as an tattoo artist, to me, requires deliberate practice and active listening to my clients. My background has given me a strong backbone to help provide a comfortable experience and deliver artwork to match visions across different subjects and styles.
Creative problem solving, matching whatever pace is most comfortable for you, a strong eye for detail, and constant practice drawing at home are all things that help me deliver my best to my clients.
My Philosophy
Never hesitate to let me know if there are changes you want to see with the drawing or the placement.
I approach every project carefully and make sure I fully understand your expectations. I never try to talk someone out of their idea unless it affects the longevity or overall quality of the project. And I’ll be honest if the project isn’t a good fit for me or if I’m not able to match your vision.
I love collaborating
Collaborating with clients and even other artists is one of the most fun parts of the job! The work I want to grow into implements a lot of freehand drawing which usually opens the door to spontaneous ideas tailored to your anatomy. Of course, many clients know exactly what they want and in that case, I’m always happy to deliver. But those who might be thinking, “I kinda have an idea-but I’m not sure about certain parts…” are some of my favorite projects to tackle. We can figure it out together!
I work slowly
To me, time is our most precious asset. The last thing I want is for any part of the process to be rushed so it’s important to me that you understand the following:
I care deeply about the quality of my work.
I soak up as much as I can from the incredible artists that I work with at Caged Raven and from the amazing artists I travel the world to see. One of the most reassuring things I’ve come to understand is: What makes the art I love really special is not technical skill as much as it is the decisions they make when drafting the idea. Their compositional choices, their use of contrast, value, how they chose to size and place the tattoo - to name a few.
Tattooing is a discipline. To me, it’s one of the most sacred, uniquely human things we can experience. I want to spend my career dedicating what time and attention I have to do the best work I possibly can. I’m extremely fortunate to be in the position to do this for a living and work hard to make sure there’s nothing but growth.
